I made this illustration for practice, funsies, and to gift to a creator (Julian Greystoke) who has just finished reading a pretty bad book for entertainment and analysis. I used the art by Clyde Caldwell, mostly known for his 80's fantasy and sci-fi art and illustrations (along with general trope of the half-naked woman clinging to or at the leg of the half-naked dude hero that was popular for the 80's fantasy and sci-fi art) as inspiration for this Inaccurate Book Art for the fantasy romance novel, The Wolf and The Hawk by Julian Greystoke. Here's a small sample of Caldwell's work so you get the literal pictures I what I was looking at.
