Mock Up of Different Book Covers I

    I made these mock ups of book covers using Sribus, images made in Krita, and open stock images from flickr to keep up my practice and experimentation of visual compositions. There will be more mock ups of other book covers as I continue to work on finishing these ones.

 Cook Book Mock Ups

    The cook book mock ups are inspired from me watching the Great British Bake Off  during my free time. I looked to other cook books published to get a general idea what seemed most important to cook books, which was the food of course. I'll try a few more formats and compositions before I'm finished with these mock ups.

Fiction Book Mock Ups

    The images on these mock ups were created by me for a hypothetical fiction book. I worked through many drafts until I came upon a style and visual that I felt worked for a book  aimed for general adults. Then this became more a practice of fonts and lettering. I used both a sans serif font and a more hand written style lettering to see how to each interacted with the image behind it.
