VD&DS Process (4)

I've not been as productive thanks to playing Divinity Original Sin 2: Enhanced Edition, thinking about the art I will make for a local charity, and I also needed a break not thinking about story making. Thankfully (and unfortunately) I made some changes to the characters and the story that I think makes more sense for what I want, but it also means going back to redo the earlier parts of the story so the events, facts, and characterizations line up correctly. It will be a long journey for me, but I want to execute what I'm envisioning to the best of my abilities (while also learning along the way). Hopefully after doing my first story it will become easier for me each time to know I how write, think, and what I need to do to shape up my works.

VD&DS Process (3)

I will make more character (2 more for Tama and at least 1-3 for the major side characters) and environment art for the world of Viper Demon & Dragon Saint. I am also currently working to make art for a local charity fundraiser to help buy art supplies for children since our funding priorities in government is more or less messed up. I'm now working on the outline for book 2 while also working on the book 1 comic script. It'll take a while to make the script since I have to give myself enough instruction to put something clear and cohesive on paper.

VD&DS Process (2)

I'm almost done with the 2nd rough draft for book 1 of Viper Demon & Dragon Saint. Starting the beginning of the story is rough as I have to introduce enough information about the world, characters, and overarching plot while juggling the main mystery. I got the general idea on how book 1 will go, but I need to go back to foreshadow a little more on the culprit of the crime.       Thankfully for the later books I have a better idea on what will happen and how things will play out generally. I will have to figure out the finer details and how the events play out to make it make sense.     Also I'm rewriting some of the details and events for the backstories of Tama and Makyi to have things line up more and add more potential drama for the two MCs to deal with for the other mysteries down the line for them to solve.

VD&DS Revisions (5)

I finally made a suitable casual outfit for Tama. I wanted to give her something that alluded to floral, petals, or plants that suited her as a GNC genderfluid butch. Tama leans masculine, but she also she doesn't ascribe to the very narrow (and traditional) definition of masculinity in appearance and behavior. She simply just finds something and says it is now masculine or feminine to what she feels right for her.

More Lightlark FANART

Image
I did fanart / revamp of the two most neglected characters in Lightlark in celebration of Julian Greystoke finishing her read along of the book.      Cleo was made to look much older, added red for contrast, made her blue and white, and be a military uniform ice skater since Lightlark is a world of wired bras and tank tops.      Azul's clothing was kept mostly the same, I added violets and oranges in references to the sunrise and sunset to his clothing, put more patterns, and made his hair longer to flow with the wind better. This is the last time I will make art for Lightlark. Thank You for Being Here. Azul Cleo
